We reach out to our community in a lot of ways, both our local Northside community as well as St. Joseph as a whole.

Neighborhood food pantry
As a way to help the church share the live-saving gospel of Jesus with our neighborhood, we we feed those in need by stocking the little food pantry in front of the church. This pantry gets filled several times throughout the week. In addition to food, we distribute gospel literature, hygiene products, and blankets/coats during the winter.

Care Portal
Sojourn works with many churches in the area and is a storage facility for Care Portal ministry. Care Portal works to meet the needs of kids and families in crisis by providing beds and household furniture

No Hunger Summer
Sojourn Church volunteers work with Second Harvest as a "No Hunger Summer" location. Throughout the summer days, church volunteers gather at the church in order to assemble and distribute hundreds of sack lunches during the week. The church also distributes free clothing from the church building during lunchtimes.

His hands and feed in our community
In several ways and at all times, needs are brought to the attention of the church. We gather together and respond.
