There are many times in my military career when I wanted to take control of a situation, but there was peace and rest when I humbled myself by doing my best within my sphere of influence, then allowing those above me to make informed decisions and, ultimately, control the unit. How much more can we find solace in doing what God has given us the space, authority, and power to do -- then resting in his soveriegn control. 

We take ourselves off of the throne and allow the King of Kings and Lord of Lords to inhabit that spot. And I love that!!
