Protestant Liberalism and the Death of Missions

Al Mohler, in his daily podcast, reports on the Protestant Church USA's decision to no longer do missions. This is a striking difference between churches, like Sojourn, that embrace Biblical orthodoxy, and those who have fallen off into deep theological liberalism. 

Once you see the slide in core beliefs, then it would only be a matter of time that those who disavow Biblical Christianity stop doing missions. There is nothing left of the Bible that is worth sharing. Peoples overseas do not need to hear a "therapeutic" gospel bereft of biblical truth.

Pray for those trapped in liberal churches because of devotion to tradition. The Holy Spirit can break them free to see the truth of God's Word! Love them. Pray for them. Speak to them the truth in kindness with persuasion and prayer.
