Join in prayer with Brother John as he prays for persecuted Christians in Syria.
Many Syrian Christians have taken refuge in neighboring countries due to the brutal civil war between government forces and anti-government Islamist groups; those who stayed endured horrific violence. Christians often suffer the loss of jobs, homes, social standing and family relationships because of their faith. Some Christians returned to Syria after Islamist rebel forces overthrew the government in 2024, but there is concern that attacks targeting Christians and churches will only increase.
The first request of persecuted Christians is ”Pray for us!” The Lord desires that his children pray for one another and with one another. Through this short video, you can join in prayer with our brothers and sisters in Syria, where Islamist groups seek to drive Christians out of the country.
Syria is classified as a restricted nation for Christians by The Voice of the Martyrs. Every Saturday through Easter, a new prayer video will be posted from a front-line worker praying for a hostile area or restricted nation. These videos will inspire your own faith as you fellowship with our brothers and sisters around the world through prayer. https://bit.ly/41uQnOL
