As we prepare to talk about contentment this weekend, it would be good to familiarize yourself with 1 Timothy 6 and to read this article about Grace Street of Whiteside Baptist Church, in Whiteside, Missouri. The small community is located in Eastern Missouri just outside of Troy.

Mrs. Street, a widow with two children, has played music for the King of Kings for several decades, along with being a treasurer and Sunday School teacher. Whiteside Baptist entertains about 20 attenders per week. In a town with 80 residents ... that's a big deal. 

And in the Kingdom of God, her contented, humble, selfless devotion is what being a disciple is all about.
